Requiem for Biafra
Abelardo Morell, Camera Obscura. This photographer made room sized camera obscuras…amazing.
Cat Soup is a 2001 Japanese animated short film directed by Tatsuo Sato, inspired by the work of manga artist Nekojiru.
The self-attributed description is “Hello Kitty on acid”.
It manages through its 34 minutes length to be one of the most dreamlike movie I’ve ever watched. A surreal quality, next to no dialogue, colors and some disturbing but always powerful scenes. The mataphors used and the symbolism within are very interesting.
Cat Soup is entertaining piece of short animation, so I recommend it to anyone.
